WAR OF KINGDOMS (2) missed the placings two starts back, then ran a better race when he made late ground and finished 1.2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1160m at this track. Goes well here and expected to be in the finish off the low draw. GUERILLA WARFARE (4) was in the money two starts back at Vaal but couldn't back it up last time when sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, at Vaal over 1475m. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run from an inside gate. Doesn't win out of turn but placed 2/3 here at the trip. FATHER CHRISTMAS (7) finished in the money at each run this campaign before a deserved win last time over 1500m at Vaal. Nice weight drop to coincide with the good form. Has winning claims on best figures. TOMMY ATKINS (9) comes here following a win over 1400m at Vaal five-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a head. Promising type with good speed and a low draw. Forward showing expected.
