DOUBLE PI (11) resumed further improved, winning a Sandown-Lakeside Maiden, and she followed with a near miss on the Hillside. She tumbles in weight, and the step up to the mile looks ideal. Has the inside barrier and will progress for a leading stable. AL DUCA (4) resumes and is also in good hands. He's free running and has been well prepared for his return. His form stacks right up, and he's proven fresh. Kicking off at a mile won't be an issue. EUGENIUS (7) has been racing in stronger and two back missed a whisker in a 70 at Hillside. Has to push forward from an outside gate, but has a handy 2kg claim and is a player. FLYING MIKKI (2) brings threatening form from Sandown in stronger, and also has claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Double Pi.
