Lots of speed predominantly from Rivkin, Pride Of Sullivan and Weapon Clear. RIVKIN (3) finds easier than Sandown and is ready to test his best form. He will push forward on an 8-day return and the 4kg claim more than compensates for the weight increase. He can win at best. THINKING OF GERTY (13) has a wide barrier, but this is winnable for him with average luck. She got close here and at Sandown, and even closer last time at Swan Hill in a 70. The 3kg claim brings her right into it. ADELANTE (17) is a former Kiwi who resumed as favourite at Cranbourne at this level, beaten 2.7L. She's been freshened and won a recent jumpout. Maps okay and has plenty of scope for improvement. CORE CONCEPT (7) resumed in stronger in good order and has plenty up his sleeve. He will get every chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Rivkin.
