KEIAI CAPELLA (3) turned in a modest performance when second last time out over 1200m at this track after being in contention on the turn. That followed a win at Monbetsu at the previous outing. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. ASHANINKA (8) finished third at this track and distance at her last appearance five-and-a-half months ago. One of the genuine hopes in the race. TRICORN (14) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time when third over 1200m at this track. Can run a bold race. SKY PEACE (10) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at this track over 1200m. Best figures measure up nicely. In the mix.
