GOING:

LAKESIDE HANDICAP 2400m

Track: GOOD   Rain (Max: 22)

The pace looks very strong with plenty of pressure on from the word go. HAN SOLO (4) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a spell, the latest when tenth over 2500m in the G3 Chairman's Cup at Kenilworth. Should be peaking now and is the one they have to beat. FIREALLEY (1) finished 5.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1900m at Fairview All Weather five weeks ago. Steps up in journey today. Should be prominent from the outset. Will play a major role. BOURNEMOUTH (6) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fifth over 2000m at Fairview All Weather three-and-a-half months ago. Makes plenty of appeal. HAROLD THE DUKE (9) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at this track two starts back then scored by a nose last time out over 2000m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again.
