Champagne Doctor can spear to the lead from the outside and set a slick tempo. EVIL LOVER (9) is busting to win and has been freshened off a plainer effort last time. She has the first time blinkers applied and they may prove the difference. TORONESS (13) has been mixing the form but rates well enough at best and is hard fit. She's been kept on the fresh side and Currie is reunited. Will get every chance from an inside barrier. THE FORT (12) resumes for Godolphin and has been switched back from the Sydney barn. The leadup trials have been sharp and she's certainly good enough. The gate is sticky. BUNDORAN (8) was well supported here first-up and likely had excuses. The gate is also awkward but she will have taken fitness and learning. SUGGESTED PLAY: Evil Lover each way.
