Plenty of early pressure primarily from Vivant Rally, Bay State and Meiner Warrior. BAY STATE (13) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 1400m at this track. Should be prominent in the run despite the wide draw. Taking on a better field but he is worth serious consideration. GRAND MALL (7) opened this prep with a win two runs ago then a good effort last time out when winding up in second over 1200m at this track, only beaten a nose. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. MAPLE LEAF RAG (8) missed the frame two back in tougher company then relished the easier contest last time when third over 1200m at this track. Rates highly and is a leading player. BRAVO KINGDOM (6) turned things around last start and got the job done by 1.75 lengths over 1200m at this track. Has his share of ability and finds a suitable race.
