Has a tricky gate to overcome. Looks the one to beat. GLOBAL SCENE (4) is yet to break through but has been in the money five times including last start when second over 1400m at this track. Has a solid record at this journey, finishing in the money on three occasions. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Among the leading chances. MEURSAULT (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 6 lengths away in seventh over 1400m at Kenilworth. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. OH MANDY (7) is yet to break through in eight runs but wasn't far away last time when third over 1600m at Fairview All Weather on December 27. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Deserves respect on best figures.
