Many of these have the speed to be prominent so a genuine tempo should ensue. LAUDATO (7) was in need of his fresh-up run over this distance at Scottsville. It must be noted that the form of that race has since been franked. He would have come on from the run and will strip much fitter. He is unbeaten from three starts on this course and can keep that record intact. LAST ONE STANDING (8) ran a good race when second over this distance at last time. He would have come on from the run and will be a fitter horse. He is one of the leading contenders. ROYAL SWAN MASTER (10) finished not far behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and there should not be much separating them at the finish. LINDBERGH (1) was a tad disappointing last start but is better placed over this trip and can figure in the finish this time. Each way value.
