Solid tempo likely from the outset with a number of speedy beginners engaged, most notably Stratified and Siovy Dane. STRATIFIED (15) deserved the easy CL2 win at Gilgandra improving again. He draws well and races handy. He can go on with the job. PLAZA (8) switched from a sharp city stable with immediate effect winning a CL1 at Moruya. She hasn't missed a beat and Heywood is a positive jockey engagement. DUKE OF CAMDEN (13) would be a winning chance at best and third up should be primed to show more. Has the first-time blinkers applied and JVO stays in the saddle. CAPITAL MAC (6) is certainly good enough but has been off the scene for 664 days. Won a recent Dubbo trial and the betting moves will be interesting. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Stratified over Plaza.
