Release The Spirit is the likely leader at a slick tempo. ARTIFACTX (1) was quickly back on track winning a Maiden at Kembla Grange. He'd just missed at Wyong three back and the form is good from a country CL1. Maps well and has been briefly freshened. Day stays aboard and he can take the next step. LIGHT INFANTRY (2) has been beaten a whisker here x2 and keeps improving. Draws a little awkwardly but Gallagher stays aboard and the speed-bred gelding is a live chance. EILRAHC (6) is also third-up out of the same races. He showed plenty early doors and jumps from the inside gate today. He's ready to show more. PRORATA (4) resumes in easier grade and has been gelded. Maps well and JVO is a positive jockey engagement. No surprise to see him race well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Artifactx.
