DIANA ZELOS (3) was on speed for much of the way over this course and distance last time but weakened late to finish fifth. Well placed and will take some running down. SMART MACE (4) missed the frame last time when ninth. That followed a run of two wins on end. Should camp just off the leaders. Sure to be in the finish. ATACANTE (2) returns from a spell. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when 14th over 1200m at Niigata Dirt. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Masashi Atarashi. Looks a strong top-three prospect. DAISHIN WIT (1) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a ninth. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating.
