The race pace in this Maiden Mile does not look too bad overall. STEELY MAN (1) finished one length from the winner in second on debut last start over 1400m at Matamata. Will be paying a lot less this time for sure. Drawn wide again but can win this. SUAVETTA (7) has been twice placed and one of them came right here. Wide barrier draw. Quinella and trifecta must here. JUWALA (2) was not too bad this time in so far. Drawn out here. Still a place and first four chance in this field. PIRATES 'N' GOLD (3) his last start placing was good. Wide gate but is on the improve here for sure. BARREL (4) has been once placed and it came second up clockwise. Definite improver. Trifecta and first four chance here without a doubt. SUGGESTED PLAY: Steely Man and Suavetta are win wagers.
