SPEEDY HANDICAP 1200m Track: GOOD
Colonel and Golden Luck to apply plenty of early pressure over the sprint journey. GLORY CLOUD (6) resumed in good order here under Hugh Bowman, only beaten 0.8L with that race already producing a subsequent winner. He's been kept up to the mark with a recent trial and he's shown good versatility in his races previously. Both stable and jockey are in form and he looks the one to beat. EMBRACES (5) jumped favourite here first-up and didn't have the best of luck when beaten 2.8L. He now gets Zac Purton in the irons from a favourable alley and he strips fitter today. Will have improvement to come and he looks set for a much better effort today. SHINKANSEN (11) is knocking on the door following a good run at this track and trip 21 days ago. Karis Teetan rides now from a good alley and he can go one better today without surprising. GOLDEN LUCK (2) got the job done first-up and ticks plenty of boxes today. Include.
