Top Scorer and Greenwich possess good early speed and will battle for early honours. STORMING DRAGON (4) has been right around the mark, finishing 2.3L off the winner as a $1.60 favourite last time out. He's trialled well since that effort and he'll be fitter now. Purton remains in the saddle and he can return to his best figures today, that would see him hard to beat. PERFECT GENERAL (2) led from start to finish over this course and distance first-up, winning by 0.3L with the form behind him working out well. He looks a nice horse on the way up and Bowman remains in the saddle today. Can improve again and appears the main danger. NEW POWER (9) resumed in solid order over this course and distance 21 days ago and a winner has come out of tat race since. Vincent Ho takes the ride now from a good draw again today and he's likely to run an improved race. SPICY GOLD (3) beat home New Power last start but does rise in weight for that win. No reason why he can't repeat the dose though.
