Track:      

Slick tempo assured from Formosa Ruby and Samt leading the charge. FORMOSA RUBY (10) scored two back at this track but was below her best last time when fifth over 1200m at this track after being in contention on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. T'S ISLAND (11) doesn't win out of turn but was in the finish last time when beaten a neck into second over 1200m at this track. Drawn out but does go back and work into her races. Will be tough to stop. T'S APEX (9) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1400m at this track after being prominent at the corner. Should be thereabouts. VENTO FLAVOR (6) was prominent at the corner but was disappointing over 1200m at this track last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run before. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
