FLYING HANDICAP 1200m Track: GOOD
Good early pace with Gustosisimo and Sweet Briar matching motors. YOUNG ARROW (8) has been kept fresh since his 1.3L defeat here first-up 28 days ago with a nice trial between runs. Teetan remains in the saddle and he mightn't find himself as far back this time around. He improved sharply second-up last campaign and if he follows a similar trajectory, he'll be very hard to beat. SWEET BRIAR (7) got the job done fresh when scoring by 0.5L in easier company, with that form working out well since. He maps to get every chance off the inside and he's never missed the placings here. Sure to make his presence felt once again. NORDIC DRAGON (1) has trialled nicely coming into this and Bowman has been on board for both outings. He loves this course and distance and the wide draw isn't an issue. Can put his number in the frame. GUSTOSISIMO (6) has looked good in his recent trials and is expected to run a big race.
