Strong early tempo with Helena Universe and Ministry to lead the way over Empath and Shigeru Nova. EMPATH (5) was well fancied last time but found one better at this track at the end of 1400m. Looks well placed stepping out in trip. Sure to run well. MINISTRY (2) finished fourth last start over 1500m at this track. Worth noting Hitomi Miyashita goes aboard and look for an improved run. JULEP STAR (7) settled well back last start when 11th over 1700m at this track. Worth forgiving the last few efforts. Key runner if at her best. SHIGERU NOVA (6) improved last start but found a couple better over 1700m at this track. The engagement of Seigo Tsukamoto is noteworthy. No surprise to see her in the frame.
