Cracking early tempo with Happy Horse and Miu Fa Fa leading the way. MA COMET (1) resumed in good order over this course and distance before returning to the trials recently and absolutely bolting in. Zac Purton hops in the saddle second-up and while he will need a touch of luck from the draw, he rates highly. Can end his winning drought today. HAPPY TANGO (6) won well two back before rising up to 1200m last time out and failing. Back to the scene of the crime now and Karis Teetan hops back in the saddle. Can roll forward and prove tough to run down. ROARING BEBE (7) has trialled well coming into this event and maps nicely for Brenton Avdulla coming into this. Never raced at this course and distance, though he is lightly raced and relatively untapped. Can show what he's capable of today. MODEST GENTLEMAN (12) is another who has trialled well coming in and he's placed 2/4 fresh. Sure to be in the finish.
