Plenty of pace likely from Pillage, Right Fielder and Kura Saber battling for the lead from Kitano Condor. MICHETTE (3) missed the frame two back in tougher company then last time in a more suitable affair scored by half a length over 1400m at Mizusawa. In the right form and should go well again. RIGHT FIELDER (2) scored last start at Mizusawa over this distance after he was prominent at the turn. Has never been out of the money in three starts at this trip, including two wins. Should camp just off the leaders. Leading contender. KITANO CONDOR (9) turned in a modest performance when third last time out at Mizusawa after being prominent at the corner. That followed a win at Mizusawa at the previous outing. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. BROMELIA (7) last appeared a month ago over 1500m at Funabashi when she finished seventh. This is her first run for the Koichi Sato stable.
