MAWALLOCK (8) is a lightly raced mare with an imposing record, beaten for just the second time when resuming at Caulfield over 1100m, going under as the $1.70 favourite. She was only beaten 1.2 lengths there and should strip much fitter. Can bounce back. ETIENNE (5) wasn't far away on resumption at this track, off an eight-month spell there. He should roll forward and prove hard to catch. WONDEREACH (10) won at this track and in this grade two back, solid again in a Bm84 last time. He maps well and should be thereabouts. RATTLE AND BANG (3) is in the mix as is BEAST MODE (7) who had no luck first up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Etienne each-way.
