Moderate tempo with Face Nine leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. TAMBA AZUKI (3) turned in a fine effort to win by a head at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Finds another suitable race and can play a major role again. SUNRISE GREAT (1) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1400m at this track. Has race fitness on his side now. Nicely placed to take this out. FACE NINE (5) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ALFENIM (2) finished fourth in a 1400m contest at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
