CAPE TURF CLUB SYNDICATES MAIDEN PLATE 1400m Track: GOOD Rain (Max: 16) |

---|---|---|---|---|
Plenty of early pace on show, particularly from Twentytwentyvision, Regulation and Arbitration. LANDOFTHERISINGSUN (5) showed good improvement when third over this course and distance last time. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging. It must be noted that the horse that finished second has come out and won since. He is a progressive type and may be the one to beat. ARBITRATION (4) ran an encouraging race on debut over 1200m last start. He was green in the running, but finished off his race nicely. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He will like the rise to 1400m and should make the natural progression. COSMIC RHYTHM (8) was in need of his last start over 1100m when resuming from a spell. He is having his first run for the Vaughan Marshall stable. He will strip much fitter and on best form shown, he can finish in the placings. MR BELVEDERE (6) is a nine start maiden who is close to a win despite missing the frame last time over 1400m at this track. Should be finishing in the money.
