In a race devoid of pace Kusemono will be prominent. SHIBANO TEN TEN (7) returned from a spell two weeks ago when she was beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 1000m at this track. Likely improver second up and a win here would be no surprise. KUSEMONO (9) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 22 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 1000m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. He is worth including in all combinations in a field that lacks depth. TOKEN ARTHUR (2) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fifth over 1000m here last time. He has sound place claims in this field. PURE KISHO (8) is returning from a spell of 12 weeks. Finished seventh at Fukushima Dirt over 1150m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Masakazu Murakami and he can improve at NAR level. Watch the markets closely.
