KUSHAN KHANIVALE (1) is going well of late, notching up his fifth consecutive top two finish here last last start. Drops sharply in grade and and steps back to a trip he relishes. Is aided at the weights with the 3kg claimer going on. Expect him to prove hard to beat. ZERO INN (6) has shown great tactical speed in her last two starts, only to be captured late in the piece. Is a winner over this track and trip and is assisted again at the weights with the apprentice engaged. Key danger. NASHO (5) was no match for an Open grade field here last start but was a smart winner at Strathalbyn in this grade the start prior when beating home Kushan Khanivale. Meets him a kilo worse this time but is drawn to advantage and will be in this for a very long way. Smaller cases can be made for the resuming ALPINE BEAU (10) and ARTERO (7).
