They will be getting along early with Glyglygly Jiro and Betelgeuse leading the charge. SHINING PEARL (8) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at this track with a win over 2000m at Urawa two weeks ago, getting home by a neck after being in contention on the bend. Has the ability to build on that fine effort last start. DIRT RAISING (2) is racing well. Scored at Urawa two back then finished third, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 1500m at this track at the latest appearance three weeks ago. Expected to be in the finish. BETELGEUSE (3) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a spell last time out over 1500m at Urawa, finishing second and beaten 2.5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. METEOR CAFE (5) ran a better race when second-up last start, finishing 3.5 lengths away in fifth over 1400m at Urawa. Has her share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
