Blistering early pace from Dancingtothelight, Devil A Saint and Steinbeck taking each other on, with a few others in keen pursuit. STEINBECK (3) was prominent from the outset when finishing second over 1400m at this track last time out. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position and will prove tough to beat. KELP FOREST (7) is a winner of his last two starts over this course and distance. He quickened up well and won with with ease last time. Grant van Niekerk retains the ride and he can notch up the hat-trick. RADICCHIO (4) stayed on well when fourth over 1600m last time. Two of his three career victories have come over this course and distance. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle and the combination merit healthy respect. MONT LOISIR (6) followed up his maiden victory with a decent fourth-place finish over this course and distance. He is likely to race up on the speed and may be hard to peg back.
