Yamanin Azurite and Angel Slap have sufficient early speed to position at the head of the field. EDDIE (2) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 5.5 lengths back in sixth over 1200m at this track. He is better off over 1000 metres and can take this out. SCHON SERENADE (10) finished out of the money two starts back and then finished eighth over 1000m at this track two weeks ago. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot figure in the finish this time. OGURI YONSEI (6) was out of the money two runs back then finished a solid fourth last time out. Include in all combinations. EMERAL GREEN (4) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing eighth last start over 1000m at this track eight weeks ago. Top-three contender in an average lineup.
