Grant Van Niekerk scored on her last time and retains the mount. Well placed and she can go back-to-back. GRUE OF ICE (9) finished eighth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at this track, beaten only 0.6 lengths. Looks well placed so expecting another big run. TRES CHIC (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.1 lengths over 1200m at this track. Include in exotic bets.
