Fast pace assured with Japanese Rose, Dumbledore and Escarpment leading the charge. RIVERSTONE (11) followed up his maiden win with an equally impressive victory over this course and distance. He returns from a well-deserved speed which would have done him the world of good. She has ability and should be well up to the task at hand. SPEED RACER (8) has very good consistent form lines to his credit. He was slowly into stride over 1000m last time and stayed on well to finish third. Has each-way claims. ESCARPMENT (3) is a winner of his last two starts over this course and distance. He rises in class but is in a good space and cannot be ignored. DUMBLEDORE (2) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a second most recently over 1200m at this track when beaten 3.5 lengths. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will prove tough to beat.
