Off the low draw the speedy Shonan Mana should lead at a genuine tempo. GRACE MUSE (6) improved sharply on her sixth two starts back at Funabashi with a win over 1500m at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 1.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling. SHONAN MANA (2) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish ninth, beaten 15 lengths, over 1400m at this track. Can bounce back. GLACE A LA VANILLE (1) is a genuine type with two minor placings from three starts this time in work. Was always up in the leading division and finished 6 lengths from the winner in third last time out over 1400m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. HORLOGE (3) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Right in the mix.
