He's drawn an ideal barrier this time for Bowman, who can sit a little closer with a cleaner jump this time. He's knocking on the door of a victory and he looks set to end his 555-day dry spell. MY FLYING ANGEL (1) stuck on well last start when 2.3L off the winner here back on June 2, The wide draw is a bit sticky, but trust Purton to get it right with his booking a big tick for this 3YO. Brings in some good formlines and appears the main danger. GALLANT CROWN (9) hasn't been far away his past couple when leading the field up in running. Karis Teetan replaces the apprentice hoop this time, who has won 3/5 when partnering the gelding. Likely to be prominent in the run again and can take plenty of catching. GRAND BOSS (7) is a lightly raced gelding who has plenty of upside. Surprised last start but can show its not a fluke in this suitable race.
