COSMETIC VIRTUE (5) was third in BM75 company in her penultimate start, and then sixth as favourite in a stronger version of this class last time out. She can secure a run that suits from another handy gate and is good enough to get the job done. Stick with her. VOID (2) was an overdue but deserving maiden winner at Timaru last start, scoring a gritty victory by a head. He can take the next step in this field. SAUVAGE (1) has yet to fire this season, but he was not too far away at Riccarton 6 days ago over a mile. This trip should suit him, and he is not out of this at a decent price.
