GOING: S(7)

AGRAFORUM GROWING INNOVATION 1400m

Track: SOFT 6     True

Good pressure from the outset with Where's Wally, Tommy Shelby and Girls Light Up taking up the running over Jack Attack and Hot Coco. QUEEN OF NAPLES (8) settled a long way back from a wide draw fresh up at Timaru, and only warmed up late, finishing midfield. The key here is the extra furlong, and if she is not already looking for more ground, then she can have the last say here. LORD WEYBURN (4) had his first run in the South Island here nearly 3 weeks ago, and needed the run after racing close to the pace the whole way. He will be spot on for this assignment, and if he doesn't win this, he should pick up a victory at short notice. GIRLS LIGHT UP (2) finished third in her South Island debut from the Astute Terri Rae stable. She improves with racing, and from a good draw, she will be hard to hold out. JACK ATTACK (7) has battled in both of his starts since graduating to this grade, and may be helped by the 6-day back-up this time. He has a good draw and is worth including in all combinations. VINDICATOR (6) has a few tricks, and if he gets into the barriers, then he is definitely one to include as well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lord Weyburn could be at some decent value.
