Lack of early speed means Grinzinger Tundra could find the lead. FUTURE FRANKIE (8) looks the one to beat. Her debut here over 1600m was excellent when charging home from last before tackling the G3 Ethereal Stakes at Caulfield and battling home for a midfield finish. Fancy she'd be a rough hope in the VRC Oaks and she should be breaking the maiden here. AFRICAN GREY (1) is the danger having found the line very nicely over this trip on debut. Possibly gives the danger a start from the wide gate but will be improved and can win. Outside of those two, LOVE KAYE (9) wasn't beaten far on debut at Echuca over 1600m in an encouraging effort. She can only improve off that and is in the mix. GRINZINGER TUNDRA (6) was poor last time but had been coming along well prior and up in trip may now suit this Russian Camelot gelding. SCORPION BAY (2) is third up and can sneak into the minors. SUGGESTED PLAY: Future Frankie to win.
