Expecting Miss Heroic to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. SETHNIQUE (2) was beaten a head over 1200m at Tamworth, after being in the firing line on the bend. He will use the inside barrier and has been unlucky not to have broken through. Gets his chance in this line-up. SPEED OF GOLD (1) found one too good at Scone but improved again. He'd been away a month and should be sharper. Well placed and should go close. EFFIETRINKET (4) resumed for the new stable, heavily bet at Mudgee, beaten 1.6L. The ex-Victorian has been improved and fitter she will get every chance from an inside barrier. Stablemate BRAVALATANTE (3) should be better for her first outing for the stable. Had been away 42 days, and her best would have her within range. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Sethnique.
