A solid tempo is on the cards with Magic Edition and Graham pushing for the lead ahead of Tatsu and Showmara. TATSU (1) knuckled down strongly to get within a nose of the winner in second last start over 1447m at Geelong and that horse has again won since, so the form stacks up. Just got a tricky gate to contend with. SHOWMARA (12) was having his first run for the Shane Nichols & Hayden Black stable last start when he made steady ground to run into second over 1200m at this track at the first run back from a spell. Expected to run well again. ANCHOR DOWN (6) came home strongly last start to finish third, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 1400m at Ballarat. Will be winding up late. MAGIC EDITION (10) hasn't been out of the top four in eight runs this prep, many of them in races with more depth than this, so hard to see her not weighing in. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tatsu to win.
