Continued the trend at the most recent appearance when runner-up over 1200m at this track after she was handy all the way. Must be included on the strength of that form. UT JOURNEY (3) returned from a spell five weeks ago when she was beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth over 1200m at Fukushima. Has never missed the frame second up. Likely improver with strong prospects. KINTRA DANCER (2) registered her first win last start over 1200m at Hakodate, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Kazuo Yokoyama was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. CALOROSA (7) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing 14th over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt three months ago. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Deserves respect on best figures.
