Not much early pressure but Mayan, Savvie Blanc and Sweet Jasmine can take up forward spots. SWEET JASMINE (4) ran her best race when narrowly beaten at Sale and then was outgraded this trip at Flemington. She will take a sit today and Rawiller replaces the 3kg apprentice. A solid each-way proposition. LEG DRIVE (5) resumes for the sharp Laurie yard and is showing plenty of promise. He was a big Cranbourne Maiden winner two back, so kicking off over this trip won't be an issue. SAVVIE BLANC (3) bounced straight back into the winner's circle this trip at Seymour, and that stacks up. He will race forward and will get every chance to go on. SHAL EXCEED (11) won two on end before settling back but kept coming to finish sixth over 1600m at Swan Hill last start. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sweet Jasmine each-way.
