Favaios, Scenic Boom and Fuzzybox all possess good speed. HEAVY METAL (9) jumped a short-priced favourite here last start and was too good, winning off a 50-day break. The wide draw is a niggle, but she turned in a strong figure last start and she'd always hinted that she had ability. Can go on with the job now. DIEGO DYNAMITE (3) was too good over 1100m here last start when sitting up on the speed. Back out to 1200m now which is the question, but the claim helps his chances and he looks to get the gun run. Won't be far away. SCENIC BOOM (2) won first-up last campaign on the back of a similar trial to what he produced this time in work. He's shown speed in the past and he looks to still have some upside. Can play a leading role. DATE WITHTHE DEVIL (5) flew home last start behind a good winner as favourite. Likely to be back again but with good pace engaged, he can round them up. BIG PLAYER (4) can improve on the fresh effort and won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Heavy Metal can go back-to-back.
