Ace Of Lace has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. UNDER THE HOOD (4) had excuses when well beaten first-up on the synthetic and is much better than that suggests. Look for improvement with that run under the belt back onto the grass from a handy draw. BESSIE LA BELLE (3) posted back-to-back wins before an even effort at Narrandera in a handy form race. Shapes as one of the better chances. SUNDROP (6) comes back in distance after scoring at 1400m at Narrandera last time. Hard to ignore while racing in good form. ACE OF LACE (1) will need some luck from the wide gate but is a chance if she gets it and MISS PEPEHA (10) led all the way to an overdue win last time and could give a sight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Under The Hood to win.
