Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. I AM KACHIMASHO (7) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 5 lengths, over 800m at this track. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. PHACELIA (5) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 6 lengths when seventh in a 1200m contest at Funabashi three-and-a-half weeks ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. KEIAI MAGORA (2) was beaten 10 lengths into seventh over 1500m at this track at his latest appearance. Well placed to turn things around.
