Expecting a strong gallop with Sorceress and Shigerutsukimizake taking up the running over Bikkuri Mark. BIKKURI MARK (2) went to the lead from the low draw when fresh from a spell last time out and was still there on straightening, eventually finishing second over 1500m at this track. Rates highly and will be hard to peg back. SHIGERUTSUKIMIZAKE (5) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on three consecutive occasions, before finishing fourth last time out over 1600m at Funabashi. Has a decent record at this trip with four minor placings from five tries and should prove tough to beat. SORCERESS (12) comes here off a break of four months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1200m at Funabashi. Has found a suitable race and is worth including. SWEET SEASON (11) returns from a spell. Finished fourth at this track and distance at her only appearance last prep seven months ago. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
