Pace only fair with Pink Shalala rolling to the lead ahead of Hasty Honey and Peony. PINK SHALALA (5) peaks off narrow defeats at Canterbury. JMac remains aboard and will position the gelding forward. Keeps improving and is ready to win. HASTY HONEY (6) maps well and is good enough at best. She wasn't far away in a Group 3 before the spell, and went close at Warwick Farm first-up. The extra metres suit and she's the danger. CAPTAIN MAVERICK (1) resumes for the Waller yard and has the ability. You'd think he would need it, but he trialled twice, and a senior hoop is engaged. Has to be kept safe. Stablemate ERAANTYVA (13) has been racing well without winning and tumbles in weight at this level. That brings her into it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pink Shalala appeals most.
