Strong pace with Moola Man, Preemptive Strike and Givethatmanabells pushing forward, closely attended by Prince Florian and Bom Bom. MISTER NIBBLES (9) stayed on well at the finish when fourth of 11 over 2000m on this course last time out. He won his penultimate run over 1600m at Scottsville. Muzi Yeni is likely to settle him near the rear of the field from his wide draw and he should be storming home over the final stages. STAR OF THE FUTURE (5) took the lead at the 200m mark last time before getting outrun late. He won his maiden over this distance. The blinkers have been re-fitted and he rates well as an each-way chance. PREEMPTIVE STRIKE (6) ran a fair race over 1200m last time when finishing fifth of 10 at this track in this second run this prep. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. Sean Veale steps back into the saddle and is well worth considering. MOOLA MAN (7) finished off last campaign with a seventh of nine over 1400m at Vaal and is having his first run from a new stable. Races well fresh-up having recorded a win and two placings from six starts. Has to be respected.
