Moderate tempo with Floof paving the way. CALIFORNIA MOXIE (7) maintained a strong mid-race move to put his rivals to the sword last start, scoring by 2.8L at this track and trip. He's since trialled well and he's turned the corner in recent efforts. Rates highly on his recent effort and can go back-to-back. CAPITAL LEGEND (2) settled out the back last start and scored by 1.3L in a strong win. The inside draw now may see him sitting closer and Atzeni replaces the apprentice hoop. Racing well and can win again. WROTE A NEW PAGE (3) got the job done in a photo finish last start, beating Capital Legend in the process. He's still improving and he's expected to be there at the finish once again. ZETTA FORCE (10) is still a maiden but looks as though he'll appreciate going up in trip for the first time today. Not to be discounted.
