Eugenius has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. TEN DEEP (11) resumes here having been saved for this race, which looks a suitable option. She's a sparingly raced 4yo mare who only ran once last campaign, beaten under a length as a $2.80 chance in stronger grade. Prior to that she started $2.40 and finished second to Splash Back who has gone right on with it and won impressively at Flemington on Saturday. Ten Deep maps well and rates highly. VIENNA VIXEN (10) has come back very well, trying hard in a BM78 at Flemington last start off the back of a solid first-up win at this track. Back in the right race now and should take beating. SIRIUS STATEMENT (6) strung a couple together but struggled last time at Caulfield in a stronger race. Can bounce right back. THE CREATOR (1) can run well fresh over a suitable trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ten Deep to win.
