Ran some solid races at the provincials last prep and he finds a winnable race. BULLFIGHTER (3) Capitalist gelding who was snagged back in the heavy (9) conditions at second run back and failed to get into the contest when a dismal thirteenth over 1100m at the Gold Coast on January 11. Extra trip and firmer deck can see him improve sharply today. THE MANAGER (5) frustrating gelding who resumed with a handy third after covering ground from the sticky gate when third over 1200m at Dubbo. Further improved from the low gate and not without each-way claims. APACHE JACK (8) consistent gelding due for a change of luck.
