Solid pace on the cards with Knuckle and Knight On The Ice who like to get rolling early. Onto the flat now and SHOGUN EXPRESS (2) is racing well, placing in his past three starts. He's been finding the line quite well in stronger races, especially the effort when beaten two lengths at Moe. Should go close off that effort. KNIGHT ON THE ICE (1) broke through for a maiden win at Warrnambool last time out when rising to 2000m. Looks a real staying type so he should measure up going further in trip. EYES TO ME (7) was unsuited back to 1700m at Warrnambool last time in a stronger race. Up in trip now suits, he'll be hard to get past. TOSEN GLORY (6) was solid at Hamilton last time and can get into the finish while KNUCKLE (3) is a minor hope on the run two back at Echuca. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shogun Express to win.
