CHEERFUL GIRL (1) looks close to a win after five minor placings in a row, most recently finishing a very close second over 800m at this track after being in the firing line all the way. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Likely improver with strong prospects. LUMINEUX FILLE (3) strode forward early last start from her wide draw and was never headed, scoring by 1.5 lengths at this track over 800m. One of the top chances again. STAR HUSTLE (7) turned in a modest performance when seventh last time out over 1200m at Funabashi, beaten 14 lengths after being prominent at the corner. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. LORD SUMMIT (6) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished fourth over 800m at this track. Among the better chances in what looks a nice race.
